    The International Conference on Industrial Engineering in 2023 was held on May 15-19 in the city of Sochi. Traditionally, the conference was held in a mixed format. Participants, at their will and where possible, could choose one of three formats of participation - the traditional face-to-face format, remotely via videoconference, remotely in the format of a poster presentation.

    The conference organizers were Moscow Polytechnic University and Kazan State Power Engineering University.

    ICIE 2023 included a rich technical program consisting of 7 sections:
    1. Machinery and Mechanism Design;
    2. Dynamics of Machines and Working Processes;
    3. Friction, Wear, and Lubrication in Machines;
    4. Design and Manufacturing Engineering of Industrial Facilities;
    5. Transport and Technological Machines;
    6. Mechanical Treatment of Materials;
    7. Industrial Hydraulic Systems;

    More than 100 reports were selected by the program committee for participating in the conference (see program). In 2023, scientists and practicians from 17 countries took part in the conference, including representatives of 70 Russian cities from the western and central parts to the Far East regions. International participants represented 17 cities and 8 countries. These are countries such as Belarus, China, England, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Portugal, Vietnam, Uzbekistan.
